Caleb Cowley, Cache Valley Pharmacy

Before CurifyLabs, the two words that defined compounding at Cache Valley Pharmacy in Utah were time and accuracy — and both were a daily struggle when everything was made by hand. Just five weeks after bringing in the Curify 3D printer, office manager Caleb Cowley says the workflow has “smoothed everything out.”

Confidence, backed by documentation

For Caleb, the biggest change isn’t just that products are now uniform and made faster — it’s what the team can say about them.

“It’s about being able to be confident in the product that we put out there — to tell both patient and provider that we have done it correctly, and have documentation behind it.” — Caleb Cowley

In an industry where the correct dosage in the right form is everything, that combination of accuracy and documentation has become Cache Valley’s answer whenever colleagues call and ask why they chose CurifyLabs. Going back, Caleb says, “would be a great detriment. We want to be progressive.”

More time where it matters: with patients

“It’s freeing up time with both technician and pharmacist to really get to know the patient — become that pharmacy that cares.” — Caleb Cowley

Five weeks in, the team is still settling into its new rhythm, but the direction is clear: with accuracy no longer the rate-limiting step, Cache Valley is planning to take on more than ever before. “We feel like we can take on more now than we ever were before.”
