Hi, tell us a bit about yourself

I’m a serial entrepreneur with a commercial background and I really like to learn new things and think outside of the box.
I have always been fascinated about change management. It motivates me to help people change how they think and work. It’s not easy – routine kills. But once new thinking sinks in - it’s amazingly rewarding to see the happiness in people.
Things are changing fast in the world. They say that if something can be automated and digitalized - it will happen. I’m super excited to be part of digitalizing on-demand drug manufacturing in the pharmaceutical industry.
Why did you found Curify?
I’m a true animal lover and have worked many years for global, large consumer brands. it feels great to put all my experience into a “humanity plus” business. Animal can’t speak for themselves or say if they are having side effects from incorrect drug treatments. That’s why it feels so important to be their voice and work towards better and personalized drug treatments.
I have been surprised about the lack of drug treatment options for pets. The situation is a bit better for an example in the US, where extemporaneous drug manufacturing is more common and personalized treatment options are available through manual manufacturing. We at Curify are doing our best to make it easier to manufacture personalized medicine in the future and believe that completely new treatments will be available over time.
What does a regular working day look like for you?
I wear many hats in my role, everything from sales to human resource management and enjoy jumping from one task to another. My most important job is to support my team in performing their best – they are working so hard on research and development, and it can be tough some days to invent the wheel. My favourite workdays are the days when I get to meet our customers.
What is your favourite animal?
This one is tricky, as I like all animals, even snakes and spiders.
A few years back I realized that I have become adult enough to do what I want with my money. So, I bought myself an Icelandic horse, a 7 year old gelding. It’s great to be back in the saddle again, even though I realize that nowadays I need to be bit more careful when cantering alone in the woods.
Recently we also got a dog, after some years of focus on small children. Our Tyson is a Coton de Tulear and brings so much joy and happiness to our family.

I truly believe that pets are the best therapists you can have.
